We are excited to offer a 14-day trial on all of our horse riding saddles. This is a great opportunity to try one of our saddle models before committing to the saddle purchase.

We advise that you ride in the saddle as much as possible during the trial and compete in the saddle if you wish to. The tags can be removed but must be included in the parcel back to us if the saddle is not suitable after the 14-day free trial. 

A new horse saddle requires a significant investment, one that the majority of horse owners have worked hard to save for. Buying a horse saddle from an auction site is a significant risk because you don't know its whole history, there is no warranty of quality, and there is no backup service. How it Works

To begin, select the saddle model, colour, seat size and width you want to trial from our website. Once you've made your selection, click the 14-day free trial and that will add the saddle to your cart. Once added continue to checkout. When the order is received we will call you to take credit/debit card details for security and authorisation purposes.

You will have 14 days to trial the saddle. After the trial, if you wish to keep the saddle full payment is taken less the original carriage charge. If you decide you don't want the horse saddle, no problem! Just call us to arrange a collection of the saddle to come back to us. 

Trial Policy

When does the trial start?

The 14-day saddle trial period is inclusive of weekends and bank holidays and begins the day you receive the saddle.

Who will fit the saddle?

During your 14-day saddle trial period, we advise you to arrange a qualified saddle fitter to make sure the saddle is suitable and correctly fitted to the horse and rider. We do not fit directly but we can put you in touch with associated fitters in your area.

What does a trialling saddle cost?

There is no cost to trying a horse saddle. However, you will need to pay a carriage fee, which includes both the cost of delivering the saddle to you and the cost of picking it up to return it to us. After trialing a saddle, the carriage fee will be fully returned if you decide to keep the saddle. Your preferred card type will be authorised to pay the amount of the horse saddle. When you choose to keep the horse saddle following the trial, the Card will subsequently be charged.

A 14-Day saddle trial charges depending on your location. This will cover the cost of the saddle's delivery and pickup. If you choose to keep the saddle after the trial you will receive a complete refund of the carriage fee.

How to prepare the saddle for collection

You must take out the old address label before the courier driver collects the saddle while packaging it for return.

On the scheduled collection day, the courier must be able to pick up the horse saddle from you between the hours of 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. Please double-check your mobile number and email address as the courier will text and email you a 1-hour time slot on the morning of the collection date.

During the trial

You are responsible for your saddle during your trial. Please be gentle with the saddle while trialing a saddle. Please be aware that any damage to the saddle may result in a deduction from your refund.

By the fifteenth day after you receive the horse saddle, if we have not heard from you, we will assume that you are satisfied with your purchase and the sale will be considered closed.

Carriage fees will be charged. For further information, please visit our delivery and returns page. These fees are intended to cover both delivery and pickup fees. Following the 14-day saddle trial period, the carriage fee will be fully returned if you decide to keep the horse saddle. Before the saddle is sent, your card will only have a £350 payment authorisation made to it. This is done for security reasons. Once your order is received, you will be called by phone to provide your card information.

After receiving the saddle, you will have 14 days trialing the saddle, including weekends and holidays.  Please be aware that all saddles must be sent back to us in the original packaging. This is crucial because the sturdy packaging we use prevents the saddle from being damaged during transportation.

Additionally, all tags must be contained in the box; even though we understand that they had to be removed so you could test the items, we still need the tags returned. Please be aware that all saddles must be returned in "Clean" condition. We will impose a £10 cleaning fee for each saddle if it is not clean. You are in charge of assuring the horse saddle is maintained and stored properly.
